Located near Stratford-upon-Avon, the hotel is approximately a 25-minute drive from the venue, making it a beautiful option for guests who don’t mind a slightly longer journey in exchange for a more secluded, estate-style setting.

The Noel Arms is a historic coaching inn located in the heart of Chipping Campden, offering a classic Cotswolds stay full of charm and character. With its traditional stone exterior, cozy interiors, and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a great option for guests looking for a comfortable and authentic countryside experience. Getting Across the Pond

For guests traveling from the United States, the easiest way to reach the Cotswolds is by flying into London Heathrow (LHR), which offers the most direct international routes.

Please ensure you check the latest UK entry requirements before travelling.Depending on your nationality and travel date, you may need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before your departure. We recommend checking the official UK Government website well in advance of your trip to confirm the latest requirements and apply if necessary.

From Heathrow, Hyll Hotel is approximately a 1.5–2 hour drive through the countryside.

Once you arrive, you have a few options:

Private Car ServiceThe most seamless and comfortable option—especially after a long flight. We recommend pre-booking a private transfer from Heathrow directly to Hyll or your nearby accommodations. Services such as Blacklane, Addison Lee, and other local luxury car providers offer reliable, door-to-door service.

Train + TaxiFor those who prefer rail travel, you can take a train from London Paddington to Kingham or Moreton-in-Marsh (approximately 1.5 hours). From either station, the venue is just a 10–20 minute taxi ride. Taxis are typically available at the station, though advance booking is recommended.

Rental CarRenting a car is a great option if you’d like to explore the Cotswolds during your stay. Please note that driving is on the left side of the road in the UK.

Guests flying into London Gatwick (LGW) can also reach the Cotswolds via train (with a connection through London) or by car service, though travel time may be slightly longer.

For guests staying off-site during the wedding weekend, we recommend arranging local taxis in advance for travel to and from the venue. Reliable local companies will be available closer to the date, and your hotel or Airbnb host can also assist with bookings.

We recommend planning your journey in advance and allowing additional time for transfers, particularly during the busy summer travel season.

Yes, they really are that friendlyAmericans don’t need an introduction to start chatting—they’ll happily strike up a conversation anywhere, anytime. This is normal, and we promise—it’s genuine. Texans will bring energyExpect big personalities, lots of laughter, and very strong hospitality. You may be offered a drink within 30 seconds. Accept it. Volume levels may be higher than usualExcitement can come across as enthusiasm… and sometimes a bit of volume. It’s all part of the charm. “How are you?” requires more than “fine”It’s not just a greeting—it’s an invitation for a quick, upbeat response. “Good, how are you?” works perfectly.

The dress code for the welcome party is garden cocktail attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear light suiting, blazers, or smart jackets, while ladies may opt for cocktail dresses, elegant midi dresses, or sophisticated separates.

Inspired by a summer garden gathering, the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. Think florals, soft colors, and polished styling that feels festive, comfortable, and perfectly suited to an evening in the countryside.

Our wedding will be black tie, and we kindly ask guests to dress accordingly for an elevated and celebratory evening. Tuxedos are required for men. For women, we recommend floor-length gowns or elegant formal dresses. Think classic, refined, and timeless. As the celebration will take place in the countryside, please keep this in mind when selecting footwear—stilettos may be difficult on grass, so a block heel or alternative is encouraged. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to celebrate with us in style.
